The List
By Siobhan Vivian
It happens every year. A list is posted all around the school. The list choses one girl from each grade as the prettiest and one girl as the ugliest. No-one knows who makes the list, but that doesn't really matter. All that matters are the names that are on the list. With the list, all the normal labels, like populars, losers, freaks, disappear. All the girls who are on the list experience it differently.
I really liked this book and I was definitely never in danger of putting it down. I liked that each chapter was written from a different girl's perspective, but since there were eight girls, and eight different perspectives, it got a bit muddled and I felt like the story didn't really capture everyone's feelings, especially towards the ending. Nonetheless, I still really enjoyed this book and I would definitely recommend it.
